Oh, we never turn down a chance to share our delight in antique quilts! As of early March the Ashland Gallery Association's stunning annual arts magazine, the Ashland Gallery Guide, is hot off the presses and inside you'll find an article by Molly about the timeless love affair with fabric and quilting. The piece is stunningly presented, with requisite mouth-watering shots of the quilts and fabrics at our dear uptown neighbor Fabric of Vision, and a couple small shots from Fourth Corner itself. If you saw Tim Bond's 2006 production of Lynn Nottage's Intimate Apparel, the article will take you back to that highlight of last year's fantastic OSF season. And even if you didn't see the play and can't figure out what all the fuss is about fabric anyway, hopefully the article will give you a little light-hearted appreciation of how deep the roots of this fascination go. If you won't be in Ashland for a while, stop by the AGA's website and take advantage of their endless hospitality--not only do they give this beautiful publication away free, they'll kindly send you one! If you're here in town, a copy of the Gallery Guide is available at all Ashland Gallery Association members (us included!) and at most B&Bs, hotels and the Chamber of Commerce and OSF Welcome Center. Among the other featured articles this year is a fond write-up of our fair Railroad Distrtict! It's a good time to be on A Street, indeed!
